Dharnika is an 18-year-old Mentee from village Savroli Patlipada situated in district Thane of Maharashtra. She had to drop her education due to a prolonged illness. Dharnika’s confidence level was decreasing day by day but her life took a turn when she enrolled herself in the GOAL” programme Lygia Mathews, her mentor tries to motivate her in every possible way- from boosting her confidence to helping her in enhancing her creative skills.
The Life skills sessions imparted by her Mentor helped her in increasing her confidence level and build leadership quality. She also learned new skills- efficient use of the smartphone, learning Basic English. Inspired by designer Archana Kochar, during a visit to her studio in Mumbai, she now aspires to become a fashion designer and wants to show her talent to the world.
