GOAL mentees are young women from rural or tribal communities Telangana, Jharkhand, or Bihar who want to make a difference. Mentees were hand-selected by DEF’s team as showing an interest and promise in becoming a digital community leader. By the time mentees begin meeting with mentors, they will have undergone English language training, digital and mobile literacy training, and had a 15-day apprenticeship with a local Soochnapreneur. Mentees will receive a mobile phone as part of this program.
